A family-run Scottish tavern aiming to attracting both locals and tourists with hearty food, whisky pairings, and live folk music. They wanted a brand that was bold, brave, and proudly Scottish.

The Challenge

They needed a visual identity and web presence that could:

I created a bold, character-rich brand with:

  • A logo featuring a dram glass, thistle icon, and hand-drawn wordmark

  • A deep, rich colour palette with whisky tones, forest green, and charcoal

  • A menu design with rustic texture and clear layout

  • A one-page website concept with reservation button, gallery, and live music calendar

  • A fun brand mascot: “Granny Morag” — the friendly face of the tavern!
